Bea Matthews Obituary
Funeral services for Bea Matthews, 94, of Iuka, are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cutshall Funeral Home with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation is Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Mrs. Matthews died Friday, July 2, 2021, at Southern Magnolia Estates. She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed attending church services. She also liked to read, sew and complete crossword and Sudoku puzzles. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Sherry Wilson; granddaughter, Tammy Cameron (Jack); grandsons, Denny Pugh, Jr. and Cory Wilson; great-grandchildren, Cara Macareno (Jorge), Jesse Pugh, Gracie Wilson, Stephanie Pugh, Cason Wilson and Keeton Wilson; great-great-grandchildren, Alex Macareno, Tyler Macareno and Lilly Pugh.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sula Johnson; husband, Hilton O. Matthews; daughter, Betty Jolene Pugh; great-granddaughter, Crystal Pugh; great-great-granddaughter, Natalie Aguilar; brother, Curtis Hutcheson; sister, Irene Pugh; and son-in-law, Denny Pugh, Sr.
Bro. Jamie Nanney will officiate.
Donations may be made to First Freewill Baptist Church.
