Caroline Anne Zivnoska, 83, of South Connellsville, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 3, 2021, at her home.
She was born Sept. 11, 1937, in South Connellsville, a daughter of the late John and Angela "Nellie" (Omatick) Vinoski.
Caroline was a member of the former Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Connellsville and the Holy Trinity Christian Mothers. When Holy Trinity closed, she became a member of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Connellsville.
She was a graduate of Connellsville High School in the Class of 1955.
Caroline was employed through PNC Bank as a bank teller for many years up until her retirement.
Caroline hobbies included baking, gardening, and most of all shopping and finding the best deals.
She absolutely adored her grandchildren and spending time with her family.
Caroline will be remembered as a humble, kind, and classy lady.
Caroline is survived by her beloved daughters, Lou Ann Mellinger and husband Donald of Scottdale and Kathleen Shearer and husband John of Connellsville; grandchildren, Kristen Null and husband Michael, Stephen Shearer and wife Maggie, Eric Shearer and wife Sarah, Haley Shearer, Tessa Shearer, Rachael Shearer, and Marygrace Shearer; great-grandchildren, Connor Null, Nathaniel Null, Emma Shearer and one on the way; sister, Theresa Ranker; brother-in-law, Richard Kessler; sister-in-law, Norma Zivnoska and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Caroline was preceded in death by her husband, Louis R. Zivnoska; brothers, Joseph Vinoski and George Vinoski; sister, Cecilia Kokot-Kessler; brothersin law, Joseph Ranker and Paul Kokot and sister-in-law, Diane Vinoski.
Family and friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME INC., 418 N. Pittsburgh St., Connellsville, 2-8 p.m. Monday, May 10 and on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the hour of the Blessing Service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Paul Lisik as Celebrant.
Committal will follow at Holy Trinity R.C. Cemetery, Connellsville.
