Michaela Gutierrez Obituary

Feb.17, 1926 - Feb. 9, 2008

Micaela G. Gutierrez died at Woodland Healthcare Sunday, Feb. 9, 2008, at age 81. Mrs. Gutierrez was born in San Miguel, Jalisco, Mexico to Martin and Julia (Pena) Gonzalez, who predeceased her. She had been a Yolo County resident for the past 34 years, working for Heidrick Farms, as well as for Contadina, and was a member of Comite de beneficiencia. Surviving Mrs. Gutierrez are sons, Daniel Gutierrez and his wife Carolina, and Olegario Gutierrez; daughters, Carmen Roman and husband Juan, and Ana McIntyre and husband Kevin; sister, Luz Gomez. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Maximiano Gutierrez in 1996, and son Jose Gonzalez in 2005.

Services: A visitation is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 14, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Kraft Bros. Chapel, 175 Second St., Woodland. A Rosary will follow at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 9:30 a.m., Friday, Feb. 15, at Holy Rosary Church, 301 Walnut St., Woodland, with Father Uriel Ojeda officiating. Kraft Bros. Funeral Directors of Woodland is assisting the family with arrangements.
