Evelyn Wilson Obituary

Evelyn M. Wilson MT. MARION- Evelyn M. Wilson, formerly of Town Rd., died peacefully, surrounded by family on Friday, April 26, 2013 at Archcare at Ferncliff. She was 101. She was born inN.Y.C., a daughter of the late James J. and Mary Maddocks Fantry. She had been employed as a collar presser for the Jacobsen Shirt Factory and Gant's Shirt Factory in Kingston. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Centerville. Her husband, James C. Wilson, died Sept. 10, 1980. Surviving is her son, James C. Wilson of Charlotte, N.C.; a half-sister, Mary Lamb of Ft. Pierce, Fla.; her granddaughter, Sherry Schefer with whom she resided; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, her daughter, Barbara E. Cole; her sister, Helen May; her twin sister, Ann Fantry; and her brothers, Thomas and James Fantry died previously. Entrusted to the care of Paul Geary the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston where friends will be received on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. A funeral procession will form on Thursday, 9 a.m. at the funeral home and process to St. John the Evangelist Church in Centerville for a 10 a.m. funeral Mass.
