Grandma always looked amazing. She would say, "If you've got it, flaunt it, " but everyone that knew her thought she was even more beautiful on the inside. She always had a smile, kind words and a spirit of enthusiasm. She grew older gracefully and with such style. She was always up for an adventure. She made many cross country trips in mom and dad's car to the West coast to spend time with my family. Even in the last few months when she wasn't feeling the best, she said she was going to ride in Dad's truck to come see us. Dad joked and said he had our couch to deliver and would just stick her in the back of the trailer. Thank you SO much mom and dad for those memories of time spent together. Gratefully, my children have grown up knowing their grandma, grandpa and great grandma.
I am blessed by so many happy memories...
Going to grandma and grandpas house on Sundays for dinner. Mom would always make brownies and grandpa would hide them saying he had no idea where they went. Watching their black and white tv. Learning how to play Yatzee. Going in the bathroom to read Grandma's daily devotional from church. Shiny metalic slippers, yes.. with a heel.
She called me once and said she wished I lived closer so she could ride her bike to my house.. if she knew how to ride a bike.
The color purple... her and my youngest daughter, Elizabeth's, favorite color.
Her love of reading...passed on to my oldest daughter, Hannah.
Her love of fashion... passed on to my middle daughter, Isabelle.
Her energy and sense of adventure... Yes, even passed on to my adopted son, Noah.
Grandma's memory lives on in each of my children. There is not a day that will pass that I won't think of her and smile.
I am so sad for myself because me and my family will miss her. So happy for her that she went home to be with Jesus.
I know she is watching over us. I know I will see her again in Heaven.
I love her... a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck.
XO, Chrissy

Jane was a sweet wonderful lady who had an infectious smile. She was a kind, sweet caring soul and will be missed greatly.

My sympathy to Jane's family. She was such a joy to know at Happy Seniors at the Round Lake Park district. We miss her smile and laughter
