ROBERT W. "BOB" HARAZIN

1942 - 2014

FOX LAKE - Robert W. "Bob" Harazin; 72 years old , passed away Saturday May 31, 2014 at Advocate Condell Medical Center, Libertyville. He was born April 20, 1942 in Oak Park the son of the late Theodore and Yvonne (VanDerman) Harazin, living in Elmhurst for many years before moving to Antioch, IL in 1994, and settling in Fox Lake in 2011. Before his retirement in 2000, Robert had worked for many years as a Salesman in the Circuit Board Industry. He was a member of the Antioch Loyal Order of the Moose #525, and enjoyed: boating, golfing, traveling, wintering in Florida, and most of all being with his friends and family. On March 11, 1972 he married Joan Karnes in Elmhurst. Survivors include: his wife of 42 years Joan; two children: Michael (Mary Ann) Harazin of Aurora, IL, and Jeff (Robyn) Karnes of Antioch; four grandchildren: Felicia, Nicole, Taylor, and Luke; a sister Yvonne (Ron) Ryzner of Elk Grove Village, a sister-in-law Audrey Harazin of Winneconne, WI; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a son Mark Harazin, and brother Theodore Harazin Jr. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 4PM until 8PM Thursday June 5, 2014 at the Strang Funeral Home of Antioch, 1055 Main St. (Rte. 83), Antioch, IL 60002.
