Dear Steve, Emily, Vicky, Susie and Laurie,
Your dear father was a kind man with a gentle spirit. You could tell by the way he talked about his family that he was a father with lots of love for his children. He was a blessing in your lives and left you with a legacy of love and happy memories. It was an honor to have gotten a chance to know him and I think your father was a very brave man who fought the good fight to have as much time as he could have to be with his loving family. I thank him for serving our country during his time in the Navy. On the day that he showed us his upstairs landing with the railing over looking the living room he told us it brought back memories of him being on the front of a ship looking out at the sea. I will always remember how joyful he was at Steve and Emily's wedding dancing with his Kathleen. I know your mother is now happily dancing in her husband's arms again in Heaven and they are both smiling down on their children with pride and love in their hearts for you and wishing you peace. Our hearts grieve with you in your sorrow and our prayers surround you all. May our loving Heavenly Father carry you close to His heart through your grief and bring healing to your hurting hearts and comfort. Love & Prayers, Linda and David Bowling
