I know this is so very late but I still wanted to express my deepest sympathy for you loss. I was at Cathy's wedding to Rob Catania. I am a Catania family member, Rob's late father's first cousin, Rosanne Catania. Cathy was a wonderful person, always enjoyed her company at family gathering when she was married to Rob. I had contact with Cathy a few years ago when I was trying to find a phone number for Christopher Catania but not her Christopher. I left a message on her answering machine and she returned the call and that is how we got re aquainted and figured out we were by marriage long lost family members. She told me all about her breast cancer. She was so courageous. I didn't get a Christmas card from her last year and I had a funny feeling something might be wrong. I was really thinking about her today and decided to search Catherine Catania and came upon the news she had passed. I am saddened but take comfort that her pain is over. God Bless all of you and especially Christopher, I know he was the light of her life.
Sincerely
Rosanne (Catania)Sullivan,

My condolences to Catherine's family for such a sad loss. I worked with her for a short period earlier this year and did not know she was ill. She was a smart and very pleasant person, and clearly was quite a trooper. May God bless you all.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Cathy recently spend the day with me at Arlington Race Track. in June. I have great photos I'd like to share with you. She looked so good and we had a great day. She was loved by so many and knowing her was a great blessing. She loves Christopher, he has been the light of her life. Christopher, you made her so proud. She just sparkled whenever she spoke of Christopher. My daughter is the same age and we actually had our kids at the same time and worked at CWT and BTI together. Cathy was a very special person. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Where can I send photos? [email protected]

We are so sorry to hear about Cathy's passing. She was one of the first people we met when we moved to the neighborhood over 11 years ago. Although we haven't kept in touch over the years, we have wonderful memories of her constant cheerful personality and beautiful smile, despite any challenges she encountered over the years. The heavens just received a beautiful angel. Our thoughts and prayers are with you...Chris, Pam and June.
