Sylvia Peters Obituary

Graveside service for Sylvia Peters, 75 of Talladega will be Thursday February 19, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Midway Memory Gardens. Rev. Billy McCoy will officiate. Her family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-7 pm. Mrs. Peters passed away February 16, 2015 at her home. She is preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Mae Cash Crabtree and father, Thomas S. Crabtree, brother, Carl Crabtree, nephew, Greg Crabtree. Native and lifelong resident of Talladega. She retired with 35 years of service with The Community Action Agency. She was of the Baptist Faith, loved working in her garden and playing with her puppy. Her survivors are daughter Rhonda Stewart, brother, Randy Crabtree (Mary), fiance Ronnie Smith, nephew, Mike Crabtree, and niece, Angie Ellis, and several great-nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be friends of the family. Online condolences may be sent to www.usreyfuneralhome.com Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega will direct.
