Winifred L. Smull

DANVILLE - Winifred L. Smull, formerly of East Mahoning Street, Danville, and a guest at Nazareth Memory Center since April 2006, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, at Nazareth.
Winnie was a daughter of the late Frank and Victoria Howell. She was married to George Smull, who preceded her in death in 1977.
She was a graduate of Bloomsburg High School.
Winnie was employed at Corrigans in Danville and also worked at Geisinger in the coffee shop for a number of years before retiring.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Sara and Burr Brooks of Camp Hill and Susan and Jerry Buckley of Danville; three grandchildren, Larry Dove of Enola, Christine Buckley of Rockville, Md., and Katie Buckley of Danville; one great-grandson, Alec Dove of Enola; one sister, Faye Blass of Numidia; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Howell, and one sister, Della Mae Gardner.
Friends may visit with the family from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Brady Funeral Home Inc., 320 Church St., where the funera will follow at 11 with her pastor, the Rev. Dennis Derr, officiating.
Burial will follow in Straub's Cemetery.
The family will provide flowers, and donations may be made in Winifred's memory to the Columbia-Montour Hospice, 410 Glenn Ave., Bloomsburg, PA 17815.
