In Loving Memory of Joanne Clarke... Joyful thoughts of the many days and nights spent at the OBX. Those Nags Head, NC memories I shall cherish forever. Smelling the salty air, eating fresh flounder, listening to the soothing sounds of the waves crashing onto the shore... Seemed to be a place of serenity and comfort that I've never found again. Your life was quite an adventure! Your accomplishments in education, teaching, mothering, giving back to the community, plus getting to travel the world and see so many sites and cultures... I can only wish to ever have even just a tiny bit of your travels. And fishing... you and Mom (Betty Price, Chase City, VA) had the best times on the shore and on the Nags Head Fishing Pier! Mom still has that mounted trout back home. Looking quite rough these days! And I remember Lance, that crazy cat! Went everywhere with you! And of course that cutie flame-point siamese, so shy. The terrior was just that! So much energy!!! Not sure how you kept her butt in line, but you definately loved animals and nature. That love shows a true loving, compationate, caring person and I feel truely blessed to have had you in my life..
Much love and admiration,.

I was shocked to read of Joanna's passing. We have shared so many good times in the past and for many years at Nags Head, Florida Keys and playing bridge together for so long. My heartfelt sympathy to all of the family. I will miss her very much, she was a very good friend.
