Judy, Diane and family, I haven't forgotten your dad, nor your mom. It was so nice being with you and your family during your dad's passing. I am sorry I didn't get to spend time with you during your mom's going home but the great thing is, they are together, once again.

Uncle Lee, this is your favorite niece Regina....I came to see you a few weeks ago, you didnt know I was there....I kissed you gently on the forehead and smiled that you still had your full mustache that as a kid, I thought was a big catipillar resting on your lip! I know you are in a better place, a place of no pain nor suffering. Although, you had to leave us and your queen, you two will one day be reunited and whole again. Our hearts are heavy as we lay the physical you to rest today, but in knowing the spiritual you is very much alive.....today we will make a joyful noise in 'his' house.
Always in my heart....love you

Mrs. Henderson, I am so sorry to hear Mr. Lee's passing. The role on this earth he fulfilled as a man of integrity and loyalty to his family, his friends and folk he became a servant to, a man of respect for people. Even after many decades, I recognized his face of before I read the name, as the person I remember back during the late 60's of our high school days of walking to your house during lunchtime with Judith. We were her small circle of friends, about four of us that came home with her everyday where she never had to wait on her hot dogs. Very seldom were you away from home, but if so, Mr. Henderson was and that's the way it was. Never once did we come to an empty house. You both were no nonsense parents who lived your lives for your children, and people. You were the kind of parents I pretended were my own -- parents of a well bonded family I never had.
I am praying for comfort for you and your family. During the sad times, those the good times shared in the Henderson's Home will always be your blessings.

Mrs. Henderson and family, we are sadden to hear of Mr. Hendonson's passing. Our family will be forever thankful for his love and caring for his neighbor, our uncle, Deacon John Bell during his lengthy illness. Mr. & Mrs. Henderson have always shown love in their community which adds to their beautiful legacy. May the comfort of God's promises uplift your spirits during this time.
