Price was a dear friend of my mother's, Loyce Clark. He was her confidant in many things and gave her counsel. I recognized this as a young child. I cherished my Sewanee shirt he brought from his Alma Mater. He was always kind, gentle and a man of few words, but a quick smile. You are missed, Stone.

My wife and I saw Price at the Polls just the day before he died. We spent 10 minutes or so catching up, which was always an adventure with Price. We lived a few blocks apart and often saw each other on morning walks / runs in the neighborhood. Very surprised and sorry to know that he is gone.

Price was a very dear friend. Always willing to listen and truly cared for others. Would give anything to tell him how much I was honored to have known him. He will be greatly missed. The good guys seem to always go first. He has a place in my heart always for all of the good he had in his heart for others.

Always a smile and a kind word. Always easy to work with. One of the nicest, friendliest attorneys at Crowley. You were always were very excited talking about your daughter. Very giving and kind. May God bless your family and friends with the peace that surpasses all understanding.

Our family, named Price, loved Price a lot. He had a commitment to Stonewall Elementary, where our kids went at the same time.
I, personally, always cherished the way Price looked at anything, ordinary or profound. Loyalty is a quality I admire and Price had that, in spades.
Price served in VN in the 196th Infantry Brigade, at the exact same time my brother served, in the same Brigade, also as an officer. This was not a large unit, but what a coincidence. When we talked about it, we realized that doesn't happen often.
We will truly miss him. Terrific guy. Really terrific.

Price was the man on the roof at Habitat. He pretended to be gruff, but every family he built with or for knew they mattered to him and to the world. He had a great gift for making others feel important - and he built a darn fine roof. The world is less bright without him.

Price was a man to be admired for his values and his commitment to serving others. This was evident not only in his professional life but also in his personal life. The example closest to my heart is how Price dedicated his energy and support to disabled citizens. Martha and Elizabeth were blessed to have him as a husband and a father. It was obvious he loved them dearly. My heartfelt sympathies to the Stone family.

I first met Price when preparing for my first White Rock Marathon and Price was director of the Terrible Twenty race. He was a good friend and running buddy for the intervening 30+ years. Price, whenever I would see you at the lake, you always had a smile and a big wave. I'll miss you, buddy!

Met Price on L. D. Bell track thru my 5 year old son long before "Running" was in vouge. There 3 guys who jogged distance in all of Hurst, Texas.
We discovered "Running" together. We discovered marathoning together. Trained together. WE co-founded The Mid-cities Runnung Club together. Some have never forgiven us.
T. Price Stone was a stand up guy and I will miss him.

I was an assistant district attorney in Dallas years ago and spent many hours talking with Price. When I bought my first home, Price recommended that I volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. You want to learn home repair on someone else's house, he said. That was the Price I knew—practical and funny. He will be missed.

Price was an important person in my life and a big presence everywhere. We will all miss him. We shared a love of running, the law, Sewanee, the southeast and cats. And, of course, food! He made the most of his life, and I wish it could have gone on for many more years.

I am so sorry and shocked to hear of Price's passing. I was and Assistant DA in Dallas County from 1988 to 2008, and in private practice in Dallas until moving away two and a half years ago. I talked to Price probably every day at work for over ten years. I liked and respected him tremendously. We always found time to have a chat, discussing life, family, sometimes even work. His warmth and humor always stood out as we solved the world's problems.
I will miss him.
He was a good man. And he always made me want to become a better man.

While working in the 193rd, Price was a regular defense attorney there. Price was a very caring man, and when he talked about his daughter his whole face lit up -- you could see how much he loved her. Price would sit and talk and we had such great conversations. My prayers go out to his family, and the "family" at the Crowley Courthouse.
