Peek, Richard Shelby A memorial service will be held for Richard Shelby Peek, at Dean Baptist Church 11567 County Road 1141, Tyler, TX at 2:00 PM Friday February 21, 2014. Richard Shelby Peek, 70, died February 16, 2014 in Tyler Texas; he is a retired Fire Fighter for the Dallas Fire and Rescue Department with 33 years of service, spending the majority of his life as a resident of Garland, TX, retired in recent years to the Tyler, TX area. Preceded in death by his parents Shelby and Marion Peek, his brother Russell Peek; he is a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Carole; his son Michael and wife Darlene Peek, daughter Julia Ann Cole, and son Jeffery Allan and wife Kristin Peek; his brother Robert; sisters Marion and Ruth; as well as his 7 grandchildren.
