Therese GEIGER Obituary

GEIGER, Therese E. "Teri" Died November 23 in her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born to Herb and Dorothy Werwath in Laredo, Texas on March 6, 1945. She is survived by her husband, John, her brother Rick of Milwaukee, WI, and by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends (young and old) throughout the USA. Teri received her undergraduate degree from Marquette University (1968) and her Master's degree (1974) and Law degree (1977) from the University of Dayton. She practiced law in Ohio, taught at the University of Dayton Law School, and pioneered in the area of mediation and alternative dispute resolution. She and her husband retired to Green Valley, AZ in 2002. In retirement, Teri enjoyed cooking (her soups were legendary), sewing as a hobby (pillows, sachets, etc by "Aunt Teri"), volunteering with her HOA and the Animal League. In lieu of flowers, if you wish to remember Teri, please make a donation to the Animal League of Green Valley, 1600 West Duval Mine Rd, Green Valley, AZ 85614. There will be a private celebration of Teri's life at a later date.
