WILSON, SR., Mr. Darnell L., age 35, of Dayton departed this life on Thursday, November 26, 2009. He was born April 8, 1974 to Thelma L. Reynolds and Charles Byrd Moon. He is preceded in death by brother, Charles C. Byrd III and David Reynolds and beloved grandmother, Thelma Reynolds. He leaves to cherish his memory; mother, Thelma; father, Charles; his beloved significant other of 14 yrs., LaPeetra Dawson; (5) children, Darnell Jr., Darnesha, Nelly, Darkesha, and Damar ,all of Dayton; brothers, Jermaine, Gregory, sisters, Lashawn, Laquita, Ryan, Mirical, De'mashe Wilson, other brothers and sisters of the Wilson family and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including his favorite cousin, "Duke". Funeral service 1:00 P.M. SATURDAY, December 5, 2009 at THOMAS FUNERAL HOME, 4520 Salem Ave., with Bishop Ralph Byrd Jr. and Charles Byrd Moon Jr., officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment will be held at Greencastle Cemetery. On line condolences may also be sent to the family at www.thomasfunerals.com

I remember when we had that whole apartment building on superior hemed up, nothing but family in it. We use to run through there like we was crazy. Skating, and partying all in the basement.
