MITCHELL, James George Age 65, of Cincinnati, OH passed away on July 12, 2018 in Hamilton, OH. He was born on October 14, 1952 to the late George James and Viola (Kurlas) Mitchell. James leaves behind his son Gavin Moses Heatherly (Kayla Smith); daughters Angie Mitchell (Chad Taylor) and Christina Nuncio (Jared Grace); brother Peter Mitchell; sister Nickolett Mitchell; grandchildren Jaycee Taylor, Chad Mitchell James Taylor, Arianna Grace, Christian James Grace, Catherine Heatherly and Gavin Moses Heatherly Jr. James was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy who owned and operated the Skyline Chili in downtown Hamilton for over 28 years. He was also a member of the Holy Trinity St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Cincinnati, OH. A visitation will be held on Tuesday July 17, 2018 from 6PM 8PM at the Ivey Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, OH 45011. On Wednesday July 18, 2018 from 10:30AM to 12:00NOON another visitation service will held at of the Holy Trinity St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 7000 Winton Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45224 with a funeral mass starting at 12:00NOON.
