William Rivera Obituary
New Castle - William "Bill" M. Rivera, age 67, of New Castle, DE, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 10, 2017. Bill loved cooking and was owner/operator of Pop Pop's Pizza in Wilmington for 9 years. He was always willing to help people and accepted them for who they were. Bill enjoyed fishing and landscaping his yard. His cherished family will miss him greatly.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Helen M. Rivera; son, Wm. Marco Rivera; daughter, Cynthia Marie Rivera (Steve). He was preceded in death by his parents and brother.
A visitation will be held Saturday, December 16, 2017, from 2-3 PM at Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Rd., Newark, DE 19702 followed by a service in celebration of Bill's life at 3 PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Faithful Friends, 12 Germay Dr., Wilmington, DE 19804. For directions or to send an online condolence visit www.stranofeeley.com
