David Klaristenfeld Obituary
Landenberg - Age 89, passed away peacefully at the Genesis Brackenville Center on Thursday, January 21, 2021.
David was born to Dr. Samuel and Mrs. Lillian Klaristenfeld in New York City. He graduated from Long Island University with a B.S. in Engineering and Chemistry. Dave enjoyed learning as a student at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Delaware well into his 80's. He was known to have every new electronic or electrical "gadget" as soon as it hit the marketplace.
His career as an engineer took him to Bendix Corp., Ronson Corp., NVF Company, W.L. Gore prior to starting a family business, Kayfield, with his son.
David's nieces, nephews and friends will miss him. His wife Joyce; son, Gary; and daughter, Laura predeceased him.
A graveside service will be 1:00 pm, Sunday, January 24, 2021 at the Jewish Community Cemetery, 401 Foulk Road, Wilmington, DE 19803. In lieu of flowers, donations in David's name may be made to Faithful Friends, 12 Germay Drive, Wilmington, DE 19804.
