Thank you to everyone who took the time to leave a message. Krystal is deeply missed by her family and many friends. God continues to work through Krystal even after she left us. God is amazing and true to his word in that he gives peace beyond all understanding. I will never get over this but with God's help I will learn to live with it.

I couldn't believe that God would've called her away so soon and was in complete shock when I found out yesterday on facebook. I know I'll never be able to forget her - we met at Girl's State a couple summers ago, and she is one of the nicest, sweetest, most caring people I have ever met. I remember how during Girls State, in order to "campaign" to sit on the bench in the senate or house, you had to list the qualities and attributes that made you fit for the position. Her's is the only one I actually remember from that day because she stood up, looked around and said, "Well, I'd like to fill the position because I'd like to sit up there and smile at all of you and see your pretty faces." She giggled and we all laughed along with her and applauded as she took her seat up on the bench.
I'll never forget her smile.
My condolences to your family and love to all.

To Krystal's Family: I had the privilege of being one of Krystal's teachers at Southern Wesleyan University. She sat in the front row of our Introduction to Business class. She was vibrant, intelligent, with a smile that would light up the room. There is absolutely no doubt that Krystal lived her faith as was apparent in the way in which she approached life and cared about those around her. Our loving God has called Krystal to her heavenly home, but her spirit lives on in all the lives that she has touched. I pray that our God will put his arms around you and offer you the kind of comfort that only He can give. We grieve for you, her family, and pray for you each and every day. I am humbled to have known Krystal...thank you for sharing her with us.

I did not know Krystal or you, her family. I was traveling on business in SC that day and passed the accident. I am so very sorry for your loss. A promising young life was taken suddenly. May you find strength in your faith.

I was privileged to know Krystal for 2 months at SWU. She touched me in many ways. I did not have any friends at SWU, and at our 8:00 math class no one sat next to me. Krystal came up and sat next to me. From then on she sat next to me every class period. We became friends, shared notes, and helped each when we were allowed to work together. Not only was I privileged to know her in that capacity but she was also in my prayer group. Each of us were given a rock to write a bold prayer on. We were then told to share it so that we could pray for each other's bold prayers. Krystal wrote 3 prayers on her rock. The first was that the tennis team would be changed and grow closer to God than they have ever been before by the end of the semester. The second was for the track team. That all of the people on the track team that did not know God would come to have a personal relationship with him that would last a lifetime. The final prayer was for Stu-Be. That every single girl living in Stu-Be would not only know Jesus but would also know each other as friends and sisters in Christ. I will continue to prayer for Krystal's prayers to come to fruition. Krystal made an impact on me, and this campus. I know God will continue to use her life and bold prayers as well. Thank you for sharing your daughter with SWU.

While I did not know your daughter, I was touched, moved and deeply saddened by reading of Krystal's sudden death. She was an indeed a light of hope to those whom she touched by her grace and faith. I firmly believe that her light is now shining brightly in heaven and shining down on all of us. May the cherished memories of her life hold and comfort all of you in your time of grief.
