Sandra Stanton Obituary

Sandra “Sandy” McKenna Stanton, age 67, a resident of Claymont, DE, passed away January 28, 2021 at her home with her son by her side. She was raised in Aston, PA and graduated form Sun Valley High School and Delaware County Community College with an Associates Degree in Accounting. Sandy worked as an accountant for Glen Mills Sand and Gravel for over 30 years before her retirement. She had a beautiful smile and was always happy, especially when spending time with her grandchildren and the rest of her family. Sandy also enjoyed reading and spending time in her garden. She was the daughter of the late Donald and Jacqueline (Munce) McKenna and wife of the late Anthony “Cheat” Stanton. Survivors: Sons: Walt Marshall, David Stanton, and Steven Stanton; Siblings: Donald McKenna, Cynthia Mitchell, Pamela Anthony, Dean McKenna and Daniel McKenna; and Grandchildren: Aidan, Luca, and Farrah. Service and Burial: Private. In Lieu of Flowers: Donations may be made to the Animal Rescue Foundation of South East Pennsylvania at www.arfsepa.com. Condolences: www.nolanfidale.com
