Nicole, Nicole, Nicole: What am I going to do without you? Who is going to text me numerous times a day about such mundane things as "the dog ran into the chair and her nose is bleeding!" - like I'm a vet and could tell you what it was! All I am, though, is your Mom and I'm going to miss you calling me that name (although I'm really going to miss the "Yo Momma!" a lot more). I will take care of Brandon, Madison, Bob, Butchie, Phoebe, Shrek, Bootsie, Donkey, Iggy and Fez (did I ever tell you you had way too many pets?). And no, I'm not going to get the kids a pot bellied pig although Brandon tried to guilt me into tonight. I know Gran is probably bugging you right now but you've grown up a lot since the last time you saw her so you'll hold your own with her. I miss you so much but I love you even more. Sleep well, my little girl!

Nicole, growing up across the street from you on Edgewood street, was some of my greatest memories... You taught me how to play double dutch, you always had my back, and was always there to listen. Nicole always had a smile on her face and could make everyone laugh each morning in home room. I didn't know her as a mother, but the person I knew in high shcool would have become a wonderful mother. I cannot express how sorry I am for her family's loss.
