Alexander M. Mazepink

Alexander M. Mazepink, 90 Alexander M. Mazepink, 90, of Cape May, NJ, formerly of the Briarcliffe section of Glenolden passed away surrounded by his loving family on May 1, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Marie B. Mazepink. He was predeceased by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. After serving in the US Navy during WWII, Alexander worked for Baldwin Locomotive in Crum Lynne. He played semi-pro football for the Eddystone Vets. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, gardening, golfing and dancing the Jitterbug. The family wishes to thank Ray and Joanna and their family for their loving care provided in the last few years of dad's life. Survivors: Nancy Urban (Paul), Michael M. (the late Susan Lowery), Barbara DeGeorgio (William Greene), Raymond A. (Joanna), Joseph R. (Charlene) and Teresa Shanahan. Also survived by 15 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 sister Lillian Deeck. Services: Relatives and friends are invited to Alexander's Life Celebration Monday, 6-8PM and Tuesday, 9-10:30AM, at James F. Knoetgen of Collingdale, 910 MacDade Blvd., followed by his Funeral Mass 11AM, at St. Joseph R.C. Church, Bartram & Woodlawn Aves., Collingdale.
