I'll never forget the tour of his vegetable garden in Cape May. He obviously loved it. Maybe someday I'll make homemade pickles too. If I ever do, I will definitely think of him.

Mr. Mazepink was a very friendly man indeed. He had a great sense of humor and was always ready with a joke. I wish the Mazepink Family my best.

Mr. Mazepink planted dogwood trees that I gave him many years ago. He would remind me they were still growing. It would remind me of lazy days on the Cape May beach, and coming home with big bags of veggies from his garden. A generous man; he will be terribly missed.
