Thomas I. Gartside Jr., 68 Thomas I. Gartside Jr., 68, of Linwood, PA died peacefully on October 27, 2013 at Wallingford Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born to the late Thomas I. and Hilda Reese Gartside Jr., he has resided in Linwood, PA since 1982, previously residing in Boothwyn, PA. Thomas was a foreman at the Container Research Corp. in Lenni for 44 years retiring in 2006. He enjoyed fishing and visiting the casinos. He was an avid Broncos fan and was also known as an avid recycler. However harness racing proved to be his passion where he once owned race horses. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his Sister, Evelyn Gayton. Survivors: Sons, Thomas I. (Tina) Gartside III and Shane (Nicole) Gartside, Companion, Peggy Sue Kelly, sisters, Elizabeth Brown, Mary King, Esther Sullivan, and Doris Tinges, former wife, Betty Gartside, grandchildren, Heather, Anthony and Thomas Gartside IV and many nieces and nephews. Services: Wednesday, 8:00pm at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA Visitation: Wednesday evening, 6-8pm at the Pagano Funeral Home, Garnet Valley, PA. Interment: Private.
