Susan I am sorry to hear of your father´s death. If you were a student at Nichols Hills Elementary in third grade -we were in the same class and were friends - until we moved. I´d love to touch base again with you. If you did go to Nichols Hills Elem and have time.

My Condolences for the loss of Mr. Vickers. I I wish I had a chance to talk with him and learn more about the Vickers Petroleum Company. Our city is currently working towards the nomination of the first Vickers Service Station built by VPC to become a designated historic structure. I feel that this designation will ensure that Mr. Vickers and the Vickers Petroleum Company will always be remembered and we will, certainly, always remember Mr. Vickers contribution to our city.

Hi. I loved your dad and happily about 12 days before his passing I got to see him. I delivered a large photo of him with his brothers and Jack Nicholas taken in 1990 which was apart of Jerry's collection and will now be a part of the Club's. We had a great visit and he remembered, definitely, my dad, and yes, me. We talked about the "dark ages" when we all hiked the C.P.hills.(Jack V., Jack S., Jack N., Jerry and on one occasion, me) of what is now is The Castle Pines International Course, when his legacy was just a dream. He remembered how tired we all got and we laughed in his dressing room. He remembered when this corner on I-25 and the bluff started his phrase ..."This is where Denver becomes Colorado again." He remembered everything like it was yesterday. It was nice! I am writing because I want you guys to know that. He also remembered his beautiful penthouse office in the Lincoln Center Bldg. where all these plans came together. I am so glad Mike Gilmore encouraged me to drop by. It is a moment I will cherish forever and wanted to share it with you all. Love to your family, Maggie Eppler
