We thank and praise God for the gift of Esther Wessling. She was truly an example of the Holy Spirit at work. She loved and was loved.

About forty years ago I interviewed Esther Wessling for a radio show that I was doing at that time which was called Lutheran Church news. She was at st. John's Lutheran at the time, and she shared with me some interesting stories about her life and talked about her faith! I still have the tape somewhere! She influenced a lot of people.

I recently got to know Esther at our prophecy class at church. She was such a nice lady and had an awesome smile. It's sad that she left us, but I know she is in heaven where we always talked about and looked forward to, and now she is experiencing this! I know it must be hard for those who were close to her and I pray for much peace and comfort for you all. God bless. Paul

Esther will be sorely missed in our Sunday school class, Bible Prophecy. She was a faithful, gentle soldier for Christ and I have benefited greatly from knowing her both by her wise counsel and her deep insight. She is with her son Mark now and happier than she has ever been!

Writing in behalf of my husband David and myself, we extend our deepest sympathies to the entire Wessling family. I'm sure that Esther is delighting being in her Lord's presence, but we will miss her SO much!! Esther and her ladies Bible study was very instrumental in my coming to trust Jesus as my Lord....more than four decades ago. She was one very SPECIAL lady in my life.

To the Wessling Family, our hearts are heavy to hear about Esther's "going home". Knowing that she is rejoicing with Jesus, her precious Savior eases some of the "sting" in her earthly departure. I will miss her very much....her phone calls and notes over the years since we moved to PA. and our visits when we have been able to get back to Colorado. Esther was SO influential in my coming to salvation in Jesus!! She has been my "Mom" in the Lord for probably 4 decades!! Praying that the Lord will comfort all of you..and the great number of people she loved and served through her life.
