I was very saddened to read of John King's death. I worked as one of his assistants from 1968 until King Resources came to an end.
I'l never forget the day he came slamming out the back door of his office where my desk was and called me by my first name. I didn't think he was even aware that I worked for him until then. I was 24 years old and had never experienced the environment
that was King Resources. I had the opportunity of meeting some of the astronauts at that time and even Secretary of State Udall.
I got to fly up to the Little King Ranch to meet with Mrs. King and worked with her on the inventory of their house on Sunset Dr. and their other residences. It was a fascinating job which led directly to my career as a legal administrator for 33 years.
I'm am very sorry for the loss of your father and husband.
