Gilbert Mosko Obituary
2/28/1950 - 2/19/2021
Gil Mosko passed away this week in the Hatchett Ranch community in Pueblo, CO where he built his retirement home 10 years ago. Gil was very content to live alone with his trusty adopted Australian Cattle dog companion Wendell. Always the artist, he continued to dabble with makeup and pottery, and even taught classes at the nearby College in Pueblo. All of this was a far cry from his work life in southern CA (Hollywood) where he earned 5 Emmy Awards for special effects makeup and built his company GM Foam to national prominence. Gil is survived by his brother Stew (Kim) and was preceded in death by parents Bud & Helene and brothers Jay and Rubin. A small private service is planned; please look forward to an "after COVID" proper service and overall get-together this spring.
