I worked with Dave at Wolfes Sporting Goods. Worked in the Ski Dept.
I quit Wolfes and went to work at Hercules in 1979, and later noticed he worked out there to.
I'm so sorry oo your loss.
I was just thinking about Dave and saw that he had passed a few years ago.

Geri. I am embarrassed that I just now heard of Dave´s passing. Being out of the political arena I´ve been out of touch.
I just felt I wanted to call and invite him to lunch.
I´m sorry I am so late. Best wishes.

I am so sorry I am just learning of this. I was told by another lobbyist when I ask about Dave. I thought the world of him and Geri As his CPA and as his friend. I´m heartbroken. I can´t believe I´m finding this out a year and a half after the fact. My dearest condolences to the family.

Dear Nicponski Family,
I knew Dave from his SLCPD days and after. He was a very professional officer, better still, he was a genuine good guy. After I retired in 2004 I would still run into Dave at various "breakfast" spots and he always would take time to catch up. I offer sincere condolences upon hearing of his death.

Dear Geri and Girls, Ron and I are saddened to hear of Daves passing. We have fond memories as neighbors in Bennion, and then connecting again in the same ward house in Murray. I will always remember Daves infectious laugh and great smile. He always had a kind word to say about you and your daughters. How blessed we are to have known him. Sending you prayers of comfort during this difficult time.

Geri and family. Sorry for your loss. I worked on the pd with Dave and he was my councilman in Murray. We always joked about his close race, and how it was my wife's and my vote that got him in office. I found Dave to be a man of great integrity and humor. Again sorry for your lost

Geri & Daughters - Lynnette and I were so sorry to learn of Dave's passing and extend our sincere condolences. I had the privilege of knowing and working with Dave on various assignments for well over 30 years. He was an associate that had a passion for his work and the ability, despite his many challenges, to uplift others. Over the past two years Dave and I worked closely together and it allowed me to truly get to know him. He taught me the meaning of true loyalty and friendship. Geri, he always spoke of his love for you and your girls. You were his strength. We pray that the Lord will bless you with His promised peace for those who mourn and with the knowledge that Dave is now in a sphere where he is free from pain.

Nicponski family I hired on the Salt Lake City PD the same time as Dave lots of fun memories working with Dave as rookie officers. Enjoyed running into him over the years and catching up. Dave was a good man. Use to get a kick seeing him in the Murray 4th of July parade. I would always yell at him and get a wave and big smile. My condolence to your family and sorry for your loss.

I really admired Dave. I had a Spanish class with Him in junior high. He was so much fun! He could manipulate our Spanish teacher, Miss Margetts, into talking about herself so we didn’t have to have homework. He was one of the “cool” guys but he was kind and generous to all, especially those who had to struggle. What a great sense of humor - and smart! He’s someone I wish I knew better. A fine man - I hope his family finds peace in his passing. I only knew Dave and Steve of the Nicponski clan, and I’m lucky to know them.
