Blaine Perkins Obituary

Blaine Wilcox Perkins 12/1/1930 ~ 8/27/2008 Blaine quietly passed away Wed. morning of heart failure. The fourth of eight children born to Orvel John and Jennie Josephine Perkins, he married Jean Margaret Day in the Salt Lake Temple Nov. 8, 1957. Blaine was an active member of the LDS church serving in every organization. He served ward and stake missions and in the Northwestern states and Tonga. He worked 43 years for the phone company. He is survived by his wife, younger brother Doyle (Marlene), and seven children: Steve (Holly), Greg (Guy Hanna), David (Virginia), Julie (Mike) Wallace, Sheri Trigaud, Diane, Kathy and 22 grandchildren. Blaine was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Orvel Jr. "Perk", Josephine, DeWayne, Nolan, Roy and Jackie. Friends may call Fri., August 29 from 6-8 p.m. at the Butler Stake Center: 7035 S. Nutree Dr. (3300 E.) Salt Lake City, UT. Funeral services held at the same location Sat. at 11 a.m. Viewing 9:30-10:30. Interment 1:30 p.m. at the Highland City Cemetery. I have known Uncle Blaine since he married my Aunt Jean, and I have been close to them all my life. There are so many memories, and I love their family very much.
