TODD MAXWELL Obituary

TODD W. MAXWELL

Des Moines

Todd William Maxwell, age 48, lost his courageous battle with carcinoid cancer on Saturday, March 14, 2009. Todd and his family have been involved with carcinoid research at the University of Iowa Medical Center.

Todd was born November 10, 1960, in Mason City to Marilyn (Hall) and Donald Maxwell. Todd was a graduate of Urbandale High School and Culinary Arts at Des Moines Area Community College. He worked in restaurants in Des Moines and California. Todd's favorite things were fishing, family, cooking, and reading.

He is survived by his mother, Marilyn J. Maxwell of Woodbury, MN; sister, Stephanie (Tom) Clifton of Chisago City, MN; and brother, Jeff (Marlene) Maxwell of Woodbury, MN. He was adored by his nephew, David; and three nieces, Mary, Kianna, and Margo; and uncle, Dick Hall of Clear Lake, MN.

The family wants to thank the wonderful people at Hospice of Central Iowa and the Urbandale Health Care Center for their care. Also, a big thanks to Donna White and Bill and Pat Lane for all of their love and support.

A private memorial service is being planned. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is suggested to Hospice of Central Iowa. Online condolences may be sent to www.caldwel
