Mary Elizabeth Ligammari Rist, 56, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 24, 2016 at Taylor House Hospice surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be from 5 to 7p.m., Thursday, October 27 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with a Vigil Service at 7p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30a.m., Friday, October 28 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Mary was a very caring person and could light up a room. To know her was to love her. Mary was a very loving, wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by many.
Mary is survived by her husband, John; children, Shane Ligammari, RaeAnna Rist, Nick Rist, John Jr. (Tegan) Rist and Jordan Rist; parents, Peter and Elizabeth Ligammari; siblings, Kathie (Scott) Scee, Thomas (Debra) Ligammari, Karen Ligammari and Sharon (Matt) Fitzpatrick; grandchildren, Zayden and Kai Rist; many nieces and nephews; dog, Bubbles and cats, Tigger, Sassy and Peebs. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Peter Ligammari and Robert Ligammari.
Memorial contributions may be given to Taylor House Hospice. Online condolences may be expressed at www.caldwellparrish.com
A memorial service will be held at a later date in her hometown of Watertown, New York.

Mary was a very special person in my life we laughed together a lot and had good times at work she loved her yankee candles and perfume she also loved her husband and children she was more worried about them .
She asked me one day at work what will happen to my husband and children if I don't make it , I told her to keep her chin up and pray real hard I told her it would be hard for her family and her friends
Mary I will miss you so very much you brightened up my day and made me laugh and gave me that hug that could get us through the day . I loved you like a sister miss you sweetie

I was fortunate to work with Mary, she was a very energetic get the job done type lady. She was passionate about her family and her beliefs in life. I am truly going to miss Mary. We would have morning discussions about our patients that morning, or if needed discussions about life outside of work. She was comical on her facial expression and body language, and I enjoyed listening to her. When she was done she would tell me Thank You for being her sounding board. Again I will miss Mary very much, she was more than a coworker, she was a friend and someone I am very glad I was able to know in my life time. Bless your Memory Mary...

Mary will be missed greatly by so many people whose lives she touched with her genuine kindness, positive attitude and glowing personality. She always had a kind word for me and inspired me to get in better shape! We will all miss her more than I can express in mere words.

I will truly miss her sweet smile. We worked out in the VA gym together a lot and she was the light of peoples eyes. She will be greatly missed

I am so sorry for your loss. I will miss Mary coming to work and saying "Hi Sweetie" and genuinely mean it. I worked with Mary only occasionally when she would work overtime on the Dom, but I can surely say we will all miss her here. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, her family.
