ROGER P. PELTZ

PELTZ ROGER P. 63, of Port Huron and Royal Oak, died Friday, September 30, 2011 after a long illness. He passed quietly, surrounded by loved ones. He was born January 13, 1948 in Rockwood, Tennessee to Joseph and Joyce Peltz. Roger was an All-American basketball player, and stand-up comedian. He loved fishing, golf, sports, and of course making people laugh. He is survived by his son, SFC Joshua Peltz, United States Army; his daughter, Julia Hale-Peltz of Victoria, Canada; his parents; sister, Joanna Peltz-Sliwka; his brother, Dennis Peltz; and nieces and nephews, Justine, Melanie, Gregory, Leigh, Justin, Griffen, and Alisha. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edwin Peltz. A memorial service will be held in Deerlodge, Tennessee, exact date and time to be determined.
