Fort Worth, Texas - Robert Odell Richardson went to be with our Lord peacefully at home, with his family by his side on the afternoon of Tuesday, February 9, 2021.
Funeral- Tuesday, February 23 at 2:30 PM in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 PM Monday, February 22 at Mount Olivet.
Odell was born August 29, 1933 in Fort Worth to Cecil and Addie Richardson. He was the youngest of six children. Odell wed Sandra Jo on October 18, 1953 in Hugo, OK. They were married for 65 years. He was preceded in death by Sandra in 2019.
Odell loved his family very much, and made sure they were always taken care of. Odell worked in Logistics at Bell Helicopter Textron and retired after 34 years. He provided for his family in many ways, from designing and building their lake house, to rebuilding and selling many cars through his own car lot. Odell enjoyed playing golf and won many trophies. He was also a talented artist who enjoyed painting. Odell was a member of North Richland Hills Baptist Church since 2000.
Survivors: Odell is survived by his children, Spencer, Donna, and Robin; grandchildren, Nick, Mina, Coy, Rachel, Sara, and Natalie; great-grandchildren, Maya.
