My Dad, Jim Mulroy, who died in 2006, was one of Dick's many proteges. I won't try to imitate the words my Dad may have used to describe his relationship with Dick, but I can say for sure that his influcene on my Dad's life and career was nothing short of massive. Through the transitive property, I am sure Dick had a bigger influence on my life than I know. To the Murphey family and all of you guys who were close to my Dad, my condolences.

My best to Dick and your family during this time. Your dad was a legend to the Columbus community and to you. Will be thinking of you.
