I am so sorry for your loss... we have all lost a part of us in the passing of Larry. We need more people in the world like Larry! He was always there to assist those who needed help. He was always the one person that you could count on. We shared a lot of happy times together and he will be missed!

I would like to add my memories of Larry as an Air Force veteran who served with him in Germany in the 1960s. Larry was a guy you did not forget once you met him. He came on "like gangbusters" but in a friendly way. In Germany we skied with him, were in judo classes as well as many other sports and did a little work watching the Chech border. We had the good fortune in recent years to have him in our 601st (AF) reunion group and he was not changed in 50 years, just a great unselfish guy. We will miss him.

Larry was the type of dear friend who doesn't come along very often in a lifetime. Over the past four years, It was a privilege for Skip and I and my kids to share so many wonderful times with him and his wife, Louise. I am grateful for so many treasured memories...from the Friday night pizza rides to Bennys...to road trips to POT, Laconia, the 105th and the Olympic Peninsula in Washington.... to rides with "the gang"...to joining my family in our home for many a Christmas and Thanksgiving celebration.. to the special celebration on he and Louise's happy wedding day. We all loved sharing in his life.
My family looked up to him for his service to our country and respected him for his bravery and courage..especially in facing his final battle against cancer. Larry, you were a true soldier to the end and you will always remain an inspiration to me, and especially my two sons, Eric and Matt.
Our deepest sympathy goes out to all of his family.
We'll ride with you in the wind.
Love,
Susie, Skip, Eric, Matt, Lauren and Carley

I remember my friend Katrina, and I putting on V2 t-shirts and standing on the road jumping up and down luring people in when Larry opened up his shop. I remember Larry leaving a bottle of wine on my doorstep with a note saying he saw me running all over the place at work and thought i might need a glass of wine when I got home....................he was always sweet and kind, a gentleman and a truly good person.............and had the biggest smile of anyone I ever knew.

Larry has touched alot of hearts over the years. He was a great person, always helping others in their time of need. Larry always enjoyed Life and I know he is in heaven riding his Harley and continuing his journey of life helping others.
