Richard Lytle Obituary

LYTLE Richard Arden Lytle, age 90, of Columbus, passed away November 4, 2007 at Lutheran Village Care Center. Graduate of Bexley High School, Class of 1935. U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran, where Richard served as a Sergeant in the Signal Corps. Member of Gender Road Christian Church, formerly Southeast Christian Church. Managed Universal Service from 1950-1969 then worked in sales at SREPCO until retiring in 1983. Richard's favorite hobby was his love of Amateur Radio and his call letters were W8THU. Preceded in death by his parents Everett Arden Lytle and Nora Alma Kientz. Survived by wife of 66 years, Helen Lytle; children, Shirley (Stephen) Wolfe, and John Arden (Cynthia) and Allen (Susan) Lytle; grandchildren, Andria (George) Canning, Danielle Wolfe, and Peter Arden, Elizabeth, and Christopher Lytle; sister, Audrey Robinson; and nephews, Jeffrey and Stanley Robinson. Memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, November 18, 2007 at Gender Road Christian Church, 5336 Gender Road, Canal Winchester 43110. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 614-861-6268.
