Elizabeth Allman Obituary

ALLMAN Elizabeth I. Allman, 84, of Grove City, was currently residing in Tampa, FL., passed away May 16, 2010 at her residence. Elizabeth was born September 23, 1925 in Columbus to the late Clarence and Mary Scurlock. Elizabeth is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Rolland Allman, son Robert, sister Maxine Holliday and brothers Herman and Donald Scurlock. Elizabeth is survived by her children, Barbara Popovich, Charles (Joanne) Allman, Mary (Ed) Williams, Donna (Bud) Helsel; sisters, Carol Adkins, Norma Donahue; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was a member of Hilltop Church of God and was very active in Women's Missionary Society. She enjoyed cross-stitching, gardening and reading her Bible. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 20, 2010 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, where the funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2010. Pastor George Jordan will be officiating with interment at Union Cemetery. Visit www.schoedinger.com to share a favorite memory of Elizabeth.
