Singaling, I still can't find enough words to tell you how much I cared, how much we all cared, about you. It hurts my heart to realize you are gone. I opened my email account at work and had an email from you that I wasn't able to read until a couple days ago. It was absolutely surreal. I wish I could have responded. I love you, man. And I miss the crap out of you.

I'm proud that I had the chance to know you as well as I did and I'll remember you for the rest of my life. I love you and I'll keep your memory close to my heart.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family & friends of Alex. It was a privilege to have carpooled with him to & from school all those years and I am sure all of us kids remember listening to Dr. Laura with Alex and his mom Jennifer on the long rides home from school. Alex went off to do major cool things after high school and we, his friends & peers, are lucky to be charged with the task of maintaining the standard of greatness which Alex set. Good luck & Godspeed to Alex and God bless his family.

Alex and I didn't know each other well, but I've always been thankful for his optimism, kindness, and authenticity. He always saw the good in everything. I remember talking to him in the middle of summer, when the heat was unbearable, and he basked in it. A few days later, when the sky turned overcast and gloomy, he smiled and said that it was a perfect day for running. His joy was infectious, and it was impossible to be anything but happy around him. The world is a better place for him having been in it. My thoughts and prayers go to his family. Alex, we'll miss you.

I didn't know Alex very well, I just met him a few times while visiting my daughter in GA. He was a sweet young man whom I enjoyed visiting with during my visits. He also was a good friend to my daughter, and an even better one when she was going through a difficult time. I am so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and his many friends in GA at this difficult time. I know that he will be missed very much. My condolences to all of his loved ones.

Alex without doubt was the most respectful, courteous, kindest young man I have ever met. He always had a smile to share and lit up the room with his charm. Our sincerest sympathy goes to his family, for we know this is a great loss. I know I will never forget Alex. He was great fun to be around and I cherished every time he sang Karaoke with us. Goodbye my friend, you will truly be missed by all.

Alex was one of my biggest supporters while we were at DLI together. If ever I thought for a minute that I was going to fail, he was there to tell me that I was going to get through it. When no one believed in me, he did. I have many fond memories of Alex and when I feel sorrow set in, I think of those days and how much he made me smile, the sorrow is replaced with smiles of the life that he lived. I've never met a man quite like Alex and I expect that I never will know another. He is remembered around the world for the legacy he left behind. Although I feel deep sorrow for the loss of Alex, I celebrate his life as he would want all of his friends and family to do. My thoughts and prayers are with all of his family and friends. We lost a brother, a friend and a shipmate all in one day. May Alex RIP. Respectfully, PO2 Church.

Alex was a dear friend and loyal shipmate. Every photo I have of him, he was smiling and thats the memory I will always cling to when I miss him. His devotion to helping people was unparalled and the lives he touched are forever better. He will never be far from my thoughts and as we mourn him, I believe many will do so with fond memories. May the Lord shower your family with comfort and peace. Respectfully, PO2 Reece

Alex was such and honorable and respectful young man. So easy going and good natured. You will be missed greatly. You are now in the hands of the Lord where there is no pain nor sorrow. I know that he has welcomed you home with open arms as you are truly a choice child of God Alex. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this time. C
