Susan Schreibman Obituary

Schreibman Susan G. Schreibman, age 72, passed away on February 21, 2013. Preceded in death by her parents Sidney and Jay Siegel. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Dr. Martin Schreibman; daughter, Sydney (James) Ross; son, Jack (Marcie) Schreibman; sister, Marji (George) Greenberg; grandchildren, Nili and Shayna Schreibman; and nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, February 24 at THE EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 3232 E. Main St. with Rabbi Jonathan Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens - Temple Israel Section. Shiva will be observed at the Schreibman residence on Sunday from 5-8 p.m. (service at 5 p.m.) and Monday from 5-8 p.m. (service at 7 p.m.). Contributions can be made to Odyssey Healthcare or Lewy Body Dementia Assoc. Online guestbook at www.epsteinmemorial.com

Martin, Randy and I were so sorry to learn the sad news about Susan. It will take you awhile to get used to her absence. Perhaps we will see each other walking Brooklyn and Titus now that the weather is getting better. Your beautiful tulips surrounding the pine tree will be blooming soon. I hope the deer don't get them this year. Kind regards, your neighbor, Amy Meland (and Randy & Titus). P.S. Titus is 8 months old today, March 16.
