Marge was a superb head nurse at Labor and Delivery at Mt. Carmel West for many years. She had the utmost respect from every intern, resident and attending physician on staff. I was an intern and resident in the late 60's and early 70's and learned more obstetrics from Marge than anyone else. Truly one of a kind. She was always a friend. Great sense of humor and an uncanny common sense approach to her profession will make her a permanent memory to all of us who were fortunate to know her.

A visit with Uncle Jim, Aunt Marge and "The Boys" always meant fun was on the way when I was a child. Lots of laughter and, of course, cookies. Aunt Marge had a wonderful sense of humor and a caring nature that comforted those around her. She certainly comforted my mom, as a family member and a nurse, by helping to deliver me! May your memories of Aunt Marge bring you peace and ease your sadness. She was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed.

In 1976 when I was a nurse working at Mt. Carmel, Marge, a nursing supervisor, introduced herself to me. I was dating her nephew Ed Miller. She was warm, friendly and encouraging. I married Ed in 1978 and had the opportunity to visit with Aunt Marge at family functions over the years, but never often enough. She was a wonderful lady and I know that she will be missed.
