Jeffrey L. Snyder

Snyder Jeffrey L. Snyder, age 49, of Ashville, passed on to be with the Lord December 20, 2014 after a sudden and brief battle with cancer. Jeff was a 1983 graduate of Groveport Madison High School. He was an electrician for Westlake Electric, and a member of The First Baptist Church of Ashville. Jeffrey was a devoted father and husband and loved watching OSU football with his family. Jeffrey was kind, thoughtful and loving, and he could bring a smile to everyone he knew with his charming sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his father Louis H. Snyder. Left to cherish his memory are his best friend and wife, Tina; his three sons, Grant, Noah and Zachery; his mother, Viola Snyder; sister, Sheri Abramonte (Sal); father and mother-in-law, William and JoAnn Hollandsworth; and nieces, Sallie Alvarez (Jaime) and Suzie Abramonte. Friends may visit Friday, December 26, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at The OLIVER-CHEEK FUNERAL HOME, 420 W. Main Street, Ashville, Ohio. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014 at The First Baptist Church of Ashville, 2367 Pickaway Street, Ashville, Ohio, with Pastor Michael V. Sutherland officiating. Interment will follow at Harrison Twp. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations are made to a scholarship fund for Jeff's Children c/o 1st Service Federal Credit Union, 100 Main Street, Groveport, Ohio in his memory.
