William Coyle Obituary

Coyle William E. Coyle. At age 55, Bill Coyle learned he was one of the estimated 200,000 people in the U.S. with younger-onset Alzheimer's disease, randomly striking people before age 65. Bill died Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at age 63. It was a mark of his true character that he could receive a diagnosis as devastating as this and make the best of it. His loving wife Deb cared for him at home before relocating to Columbus, OH to be nearer to Bill's family. Later, as a resident of Sunrise on the Scioto, Bill continued to find humor and express compassion for other residents and his caregivers. William E. Coyle (Bill) of Hilliard, OH, was born in Toledo, OH, son of Edward and Marjorie (Doyle) Coyle. He was educated at Sandusky High School and received a B.A. from Bowling Green University and an M.S. from the University of Arkansas. Bill worked in manufacturing throughout his career, most recently as a logistics manager for L'Oréal USA. He served on the board of APICS and taught certification classes. Much of his free time was spent volunteering for a variety of organizations that serve the needy in the community. He also loved volunteering for public radio fund drives. He made a difference in the lives of so many. He leaves behind his wife of 36 years, Deb; his mother, Marjorie Coyle; brother, Thomas (Karen) Coyle; sister, Suzanne (Dan) Helmick; niece, Megan (Jeremy) Coyle Morrow; and nephew, Ryan Coyle; great-nephew, Jameson Morrow. He is also survived by his in-laws, Mary Beth Wishmeyer, Melanie Fleming and Debbie Shell. Family will be receiving friends from 12 noon-2 p.m. with a brief memorial service at 2 p.m. November 28, 2015 at TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard. Memorial gifts can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011. Please designate the donation for research.

Bill was a neighborhood friend and co-worker in Arkansas. We always enjoyed being around Bill and Deb; made a few trips together, enjoyed special meals and playing golf in the snow. God bless Bill and his entire family.

Bill was a great co-worker at Loreal.
I was so sad when he left Loreal. Alzheimer's is horrible. I hope that he is at peace. I will pray for his family.

Salute to Bill!

Thoma cousins honored Bill's memory today by continuing a tradition he instituted many years ago . . . Friday after Thanksgiving breakfast of Bratwurst and Sauerkraut at the West Side Market. Bill, you'll be missed. Love to Aunt Marj, Deb and all our Coyle cousins. You are in our prayers.
