Dean Stout Obituary
Murfreesboro, TN
Mrs. Dean Stout, age 90, of Murfreesboro, TN, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 16, 2017. A native of Gallatin, TN, she was preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Haynie Owen Lowrey; husband, George Kenneth Stout; grandson, Brian Stout; and brothers, Mark Lowrey Jr. and Richard Lowrey.
A celebration of life will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Bellwood Church of Christ. Brother Alan Cooper will officiate.
She is survived by her children, Peggy P'Pool and her husband Kenneth of Clinton, MS, Rick Stout and his wife Tammy of Murfreesboro, and Diane Stout of LaVergne, TN; grandsons, Josh and Tyler Stout both of Murfreesboro; sisters, Anne Groth of Seattle, WA and Jane Lenoir of Huntsville, AL; sister-in-law, Ella Lee Lowrey of CT; along with several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Stout was a member of Bellwood Church of Christ. She loved reading the bible and had read it through many times. Mrs. Stout was a proud graduate of Vanderbilt University and was a retired Registered Nurse. She cherished horses and rode them most of her life. Throughout her life Mrs. Stout stuck to a well disciplined routine. She led an active life and loved to exercise daily. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Memorials in memory of Mrs. Stout can be made to the American Heart Association or to the Alzheimer's Association.
Visitatation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Bellwood Church of Christ.

I met Dean at Patterson Park when she came to exercise. She was always smiling and friendly and I loved seeing her and talking to her. She would always say that she was thankful to be able to be there. I have missed her beautiful face and her kind, sweet presence.
