Angeline Jean Poukka

Angeline Jean (Skull) Poukka, 83, of Duluth, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2006 in her home. She was born July 18, 1922 to John and Angeline (Sterle) Skull. She married Ralph T. Poukka on Nov. 3, 1943. Angeline was a wonderful loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a strong woman with a heart of gold, being a homemaker and raising seven children was a task in itself, with all its ups and downs she always found a smile. Family was very important to her. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking. She enjoyed her bowling afternoons. Angie had volunteered and worked at St. Vincent de Paul, also she rang bells for the Salvation Army at Christmas time. No matter what she did she gave it her best and you could always rely on her. After the death of her husband, Angie moved to the Lenox building in downtown Duluth. She had joined the 'Grandma & Grandpa's' band. She really enjoyed this, dressing up or wearing costumes for the different holidays, and meeting new people. She had a lot of friends and acquaintances at the Lenox. Angie went to church at the Salvation Army. Angeline was preceded in death by her parents, John and Angeline Skull; her husband Ralph of 47 years, her two brothers, John and William, and her sister Mary. She is survived by her seven children, Richard (Elaine), Suzanne, Ralph Jr. (Teri), Robert, Roger (DuRae), Ronald, Cynthia and daughter-in-law Brenda; 15 grandchildren, Anne, William, Tracy, Jackie, Rebecca, Melissa, Peter, Paul, Angie, Jenny, Jana, Michael, Adam, Eric and Jesse; 28 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. VISITATION:5 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 22, in Williams-Lobermeier Funeral Home. Visitation continues Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Funeral Service in Williams-Lobermeier Funeral Home. Fellowship and luncheon to follow at 12:30 in the Salvation Army. Angeline has requested in lieu of flowers, make donation to the Salvation Army 217 S. 27th Ave. W., Duluth, MN 55806
