Mark Hildreth Obituary

Mark Hildreth
Aug. 8, 1958-June 11, 2012
Resident of San Ramon
Mark Hildreth passed away Monday after a heroic battle with cancer. We will miss his intelligence, sense of humor, and boisterous laugh. He was fortunate to have been loved by so many.
Mark was born in New Haven, Connecticut and attended St. Bernard High School prior to Syracuse University where he studied computer science. He enjoyed a long career in R D and network architecture with Canon, eventually starting his own consulting business focused on small business systems integration. His career brought him to San Ramon via Washington DC, New York and Napa. He enjoyed cooking, wine tasting, and was a devoted water polo and Red Sox fan.
Mark is survived by his wife of 25 years, Janice Hildreth, and his two sons, Christopher and Eric. He is also survived by his parents, Gene and Barbara Hildreth of the Villages, Florida and brothers Robert (Patty) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Scott (Meg) of Needham, Massachusetts and Michael (Denise) of Hopkinton, Massachusetts along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, most notably Patricia Woods of Berkeley, CA.
Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Mark's life on Monday, June 18th from 5 - 7pm at Graham Hitch. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society.
