Four years...but I still find comfort in the kind words others have left. Thank you.
All this time and I am no closer to the answer. The question is: "why?". I've tried to learn not to ask and accept two things: an answer will not be forthcoming and it doesn't matter. What matters is I miss you.
You've got 3 year old twin grandsons, now. I can guarantee you never saw that coming (neither did I). I feel a lot of sorrow that they won't get to know you and you them...but, I get a good laugh imagining you playing with them. They'd have loved you.
You are still in my thoughts and the hole you left remains. Things were complicated before you died. The more time that passes the more of the complications fade away, until only one salient thought remains: I love you.
We are not better off without you. Addition by subtraction is nonsense and I wish you'd have discussed that theory with me (or some other accountant).
I hope you're laughing and strumming on a Martin, as you are in my memories.

Sandra,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Kevin. I just read about it in The Bridge. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and sympathies for you and your family. The pain of separation is so great, but we know we will see them again, and we can hang on to that knowledge while we walk the path of grief.

I was so sorry to hear of Kevin's passing. I will never forget how he sat by me while I was at the hospital the night before my mother, Mary Ives, died from pancreatic cancer. We both thought a lot of Kevin and how caring he was.
I will keep you all in my prayers.
