March 13, 1931 - August 9, 2011
Frank Gerzanich, longtime resident of Grande Prairie, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at the age of 80 years.
Frank was born in Wainwright, Alberta and raised in Tofield, Alberta. He spent 23 years in the Armed Forces and 21 years with Alberta Power. Frank loved bowling, curling, golf, electronics and computers. He will be sadly missed by his two sisters Mary (Ray) Libby, Mary-Ann (Jim) Strembiski; sons Art (Laurrie), Dave, Peter (Nora), Mike (Karen); 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Frank was predeceased by his father John; mother Annie; stepmother Annie; brother John; brother Peter; granddaughter Amy and grandson Robert. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Olivers Grande Prairie Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta or the Alberta Cancer Foundation.

I was in Job's Daughters as well, and enjoyed his sense of humor and kindness very much. He will be missed by me and my family.

On Behalf of the Grand Guardian Council Job's Daughters, we send out deepest sympathies and condolences to the family of Frank Gerzanich. Frank was an active part of Job's Daughters, in Grande Prairie and Alberta. He was truly a great man and an vital part of our organization.
