It's been 11 yrs since you left us Steve but your memory lives on. We shared a lot of stories while at work. You would tell me your dream car was a 55 Chevy Nomad & that I need a Hemi Dodge Dart. You would share stories growing up in Vanderhoof and Houston B.C. and that you were skilled as a heavy equipment operator. RIP buddy!

It takes me longer than most to deal with sadness and it is with true sadness that I would like to say that my cousin will be missed. We did not get to know each other very well but we always new we were family and no mater how much contact you have family is family and loved forever. God will take good care of you until your family can see you again. Love Linda Reusse (Tayes)

Wow.I can't believe your gone!! My heart breaks when I think of how your young life was ended so tragically. We miss you at work--it's not the same without you and never will be. You have left a big hole in many hearts that will never be filled. Memories now are all we have left and I am so grateful for mine. You made me smile and laugh and shake my head so many times! Thank you for letting me into your world.Hugs..

I have known steve since he started working at AHE, He started on my unit and I had the priviledge of showing him the ropes. He was new and "green" back then. I watched him develop into a fine staff that could be counted on for anything. One less old soldier. The old guard are getting fewer and fewer. I hope you are looking down at us right now steve. You will be sorely missed. You touched a vast amount of people in many ways.

Steve, you will always be part of our family. We will miss the heart to heart talks we had and the bond we shared as a family. Our dog Sierra will also miss you very much, she will miss the sound of your motorbike coming down the street, and you were the only person that could get her to sing.Your bedroom in our basement will always be there for you, as you are so much a part of us, we will love you forever Steve, we'll see again.

Steve, you are missed so much by so many. You shall always be in my thoughts and I will think of you
often. You were taken far too soon
but be can all draw upon you for
inspiration when we need it. You
lived life on your terms and willed
the things you wanted in life to
happen.
We are all so proud to have known you.

Steve: It was nice to have worked with you and had met you a short while ago at the Credit Union. It is sad to know that it was our last encounter. Rest in peace. May the good Lord bless your family as always.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Steve, as we grieve a dear dear friend, taken way too soon. We sit and remember the countless memories and laughs we shared. Wayne sits here missing you so very much, a void in his life, he has never let anyone but you get so close. We will all miss you very much, but especially Wayne. May the two of you someday meet again. You will have a special place in our hearts forever.

I sit here trying to find the right words to say, what quote or poem should I include in my entry to you, Steve?? So, here it goes. What can I say, you love to travel,(which you did), You loved big sugar(which you got to go see), You always talked about one day owning "that Harley" (which you owned) You were the male role model , not only in my life, growing up as a teenager, but my two brothers lives were deeply impacted by you.You are part of many memories that myself, Richard, James, and my Mom all share as a family.Mexico was one of the best!!
You were a part of our family, although we seemed to have gone our separate ways, you'll always hold a special place in all of our hearts. You and I had a special kind of bond, Steve, if there was something I was so desperately trying to get my mom to understand, you would just know. I knew I could count on you to have her looking at things from a different perspective, at very least by the next day.I'm so sad that life ended so suddenly for you. It just seems so unfair. My heart goes out to Steves Mom, his brother Rod, and wife Debbie, Karen, and her boys who Im sure adored him, just as my brothers did. And, to the many others who had the pleasure of knowing Steve. Never forget yesterday, But always live for today... Cuz you never know what tomorrow can bring, Or what it can take away... *RIP*STEVE*

Karen & Family and all those whose lives were touched by Steve,
What is there to say about Steve?
If you met him; you will remember him always.
I am certain that everyone has their own funny story or fond memory they have shared with Steve.
Although it has been quite some time since I have been at AHE or have seen Steve, I know that when I think of him it puts a smile on my face.
For all of us that knew him, he has left his mark.
He will be missed

If we could bring you back again,
For one more hour or day,
We’d express all our unspoken love;
We’d have countless things to say.
If we could bring you back again,
We’d say we treasured you,
And that your presence in our lives
Meant more than we ever knew.
If we could bring you back again,
To tell you what we should,
You’d know how much we miss you now,
And if we could, we would
